Rini Price’s statement about the Trees paintings

When I can no longer deal with the psyches on the paper or canvas, or I am particularly discouraged with the species, I have done one or two tree paintings or drawings, or, more recently, I’ve spent periods with non-objective work -- checks, circles, stripes, ribbon-like connections, some word art, etc., when I can’t face humans for a while.
